Metamorphosis at the Portland Art & Heritage Fair!

metamorphosis [met-uh-mawr-fuh-seez]: a profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an organism. a complete change of form, structure, or substance, as transformation. any complete change in appearance, character, circumstances, etc. a form resulting from any such change.

The purpose of the Juried Art Exhibit at the Portland Art & Heritage Fair is to showcase local fine art.

The juried art exhibition is open to: all interpretations of the title concept. Thanks to Louisville Visual Art for managing this portion of the Art Fair. The exhibition will be held at Louisville Visual Art located at 1536 Lytle Street.

This exhibit is open to artists 18 and older. Submissions will be reviewed on the basis of originality of the concept of “Metamorphosis”, expressive use of media, and artistic excellence. All interpretations of the concept will be considered.

A 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize will be awarded at the following levels:

1st place:    $400
2nd place:   $200
3rd place:    $100
